Birthday and anniversary messages
Civic recognition of birthdays and anniversaries
If you, or someone you know, residing within Derby, is due to celebrate a 100th birthday you can request a Civic recognition of this special occasion. In addition to this, we would be delighted to also recognise milestone wedding anniversaries (minimum of 50 years).
The person(s) celebrating their birthday/anniversary will receive either a telephone of Skype call from the Mayor and Mayoress to congratulate them.
Where possible, the Mayor and Mayoress would like to visit the person(s) to present them with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of Derby City Council, however this is dependent on availability and the individual circumstances of the person.
Nominations should be made at least six weeks prior to the birthday/anniversary date. Please use the form below to submit a nomination.
