Information for adult social care organisations
In Derby, as in the rest of the country, we have changed Adult Social Care to provide our customers with greater choice and control in the support that they receive. This means a more personalised approach which enables customers to have a greater say in what support is provided and how it is provided.
You may want to promote your organisation, service or activity through one of the local or national directories that we link to in the Choices and types of support available locally section which help our customers to find organisations that can support them.
Market Position Statement
In 2012 we published the first version of our Market Position Statement, which we see as an increasingly important part of our relationship with the social care market. In 2017, we published Issue 2, the updated version of the Market Position Statement.
The Market Position Statement is designed to be a document containing intelligence, information and analysis intended to be of benefit to adult social care providers in Derby.
It aims to describe current and potential future demand and supply. It identifies opportunities for market development and forthcoming changes. It is also the start of a dialogue between us and the provider market.
The Market Position Statement has some of the information providers need to:
- grow your business: It can help you to make decisions about which services to invest in for the future.
- identify gaps in the market: At a time of great change, it can help with innovation.
- react to new business opportunities: It can help you to find out about customer demand.
