Work for one year in Osnabrück: 2019-2020 Derby Envoy sought

The City of Osnabrück, Germany, is looking for young people from Derby who are interested in working abroad in Derby‘s twin city of Osnabrück and would like to represent Derby City there.

The envoy works with an international team made up of other envoys from Angers (France), Çanakkale (Turkey), Haarlem (Netherlands) and Tver (Russia).

The envoy’s tasks are very varied and include: establishing new cultural, educational or commercial connections between the two cities, preparing for guest receptions for visitors from Derby, interpreting at official receptions, translating correspondence, con-ducting city tours, press and public relations, working on new and existing projects, organising a summer trip to Derby, and much more.

The position runs from 1st October 2019 to 30th September 2020. You will receive a monthly salary for your work from the City‘s Twinning Office.
