Derby City Council were deeply saddened to learn of the death of former High Sheriff of Derbyshire and local businesswoman, Annie Hall.

Annie served as the county’s High Sheriff in 2017 and attended numerous engagements with the Mayor of Derby during her time in office; she will be fondly remembered as a dedicated public servant and a passionate advocate of a wide variety of causes, across both Derby and Derbyshire.

The Mayor, Councillor Frank Harwood, will be writing to her family to express the Council’s condolences.
