Brown bin collections were suspended on Wednesday 13 July.

Our free brown bin collections will be resuming for residents of Derby on Tuesday 27 July.

The brown bin can be used for garden waste including grass cuttings, leaves and weeds, and for food waste, cooked or uncooked. More information on what can put in the brown bin can be found on our website.

Residents are being asked to put their brown bin out ready to be collected on their normal collection day.

Jerry Pearce, Cabinet member for StreetPride commented:

The Refuse team are looking forward to getting back to servicing our community and we want to thank residents for their continued support and for all of the positive messages we have received, it means a lot to us. Please continue to take care of yourselves.

For more information about waste collections, please visit our website and follow the guidance provided.
