Derby City Council (Redwood Road) (Moving Vehicle Restrictions) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.47) (Experimental) Order 2021

DERBY CITY COUNCIL made this Experimental Order on the 11th day of November 2021, which will become effective from the 22nd day of November 2021 for a period of 18 months, under Sections 1, 2, 4, and Part IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police:

The purpose of the Experimental Order is to bring into effect the following:

Prohibition of driving of motor vehicles (Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 9am and 2.30pm to 3.30pm) (Permit Holder Exemption)

• Redwood Road from its junction with Islay Road to its junction with Sinfin Lane.

A copy of the Experimental Order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the Experimental Order, may be inspected on this page.

Derby City Council will be considering, in due course, whether the provisions of this Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely.

Anyone wishing to object to the Experimental Order continuing in force indefinitely, should state their grounds of objection, sending it in writing to Derby City Council, Traffic and Transportation, Communities and Place, Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than the 21st May 2022.
