Derby City Council (Gower Street) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.123) Order 2022
Derby City Council has made this Traffic Regulation Order on 2nd February 2023, which come into effect on 6th February 2023 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.
The purpose of the order will be to introduce:
No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour)
- On Gower Street, adjacent to 85 Green Lane
- Approximately 1.5 metres outside 12 Gower Street
Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour) to replace Pay and Display (Max 2 Hours Mon-Sat 8am-8pm Sun 10am-4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption)
- Outside 8 Gower Street
Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)
- In the lay by outside Prosperity House, Gower Street
Pay and Display (Maximum 2 Hours Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)
- Approximately 1.4 metres outside 11 Gower Street
Pay and Display (Maximum 2 Hours Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption) to replace Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour)

No Stopping (At Any Time) (Except Local Buses) (Clearway extent only) to replace Pay and Display (Maximum 2 Hours Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm and Sunday from 10am to 4pm) (Permit Holder Exemption)

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
