Minor Amendments

Derby City Council (Various Minor Amendments) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.116) Order 2021

Derby City Council has made this Traffic Regulation Order on 16th February 2023, which comes into effect on 20th February 2023 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.

The purpose of the order will be to introduce:

No Waiting (At Any Time)

  • Peet Street, at its junction with Franchise Street
  • Cummings Street, at its access to the land adjacent to number 48
  • Shaftesbury Street, opposite Unit 5C and Unit 8
  • Bromley Street, at its junction with Kedleston Road (as lined onsite)
  • Folly Road at its junction with Haslams Lane
  • Huxley Close, at its junction with Browning Street to outside number 2 on its northern side and adjacent to number 1A on its southern side
  • Derby Lane, at its junction with Kenilworth Avenue (as lined onsite)
  • Gresham Road, on its eastern side, opposite the car park for Trimmings by Design

No Waiting (Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm)

  • Wayzgoose Drive, opposite Unit 6

No Waiting (Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm)

  • Station Road, from outside number 24 to outside Mickleover Methodist Church (as lined onsite)

Permit Holders Only (8am to 6pm) to replace No Waiting (At Any Time)

  • Crompton Street, outside number 12

Permit Holders Only (Monday to Saturday from 8am to 6pm) to replace Disabled Badge Holders Only (At All Times)

  • Lyndhurst Street, outside number 21

No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace Limited Waiting (2 Hour No Return Within 1 Hour) (Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm) (Permit Holder Exemption)

  • Middleton Avenue, from the existing No Waiting (At Any Time) restriction at the Burton Road junction to outside number 2, on its eastern side. And on its western side, opposite number 2 for a distance of approximately 15 metres towards Burton Road

Revocation of No Waiting (At Any Time)

  • Waverley Street, adjacent to number 41 Tennyson Street, on both sides
  • Waverley Street on both sides from outside number 54 to 56 on its southern side and opposite 52 to 56 on its northern side
  • Tennyson Street, outside number 39 on both sides

Copies of the order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the order, may be inspected on this page.

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
