Derby City Council (West Road) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.119) Order 2022

Derby City Council has made these Traffic Regulation Orders on 10th August 2023, which come into effect on 14th August 2023 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.

The purpose of the Order will be to introduce the following restrictions, which includes the modification outside 20 and 22 West Road:

No Waiting (At Any Time)

• West Road – on both sides from the Sunningdale Avenue junction to number 31 and 34, apart from outside 20 and 22 West Road
• Sunningdale Avenue – on both sides of the West Road junction, from the existing no waiting at any time restriction outside number 8 for a distance of approximately 6 metres and outside number 20 for approximately 6m.

No Waiting (Mon to Fri 8am to 4pm)

• West Road - outside 20 and 22 West Road

Anyone wishing to question the validity of the Order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the Acts or because they do not comply with any requirement or regulations made under them, may, within six weeks of the date of the Orders, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
