Derby City Council has made these Traffic Regulation Orders on 12th January 2023, which come into effect on 16th January 2023 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act.
The orders bring into effect:
No Waiting (At Any Time)
- Yates Drive from the rear of 91 Pear Tree Road to the rear of 109 Pear Tree Road on its western side and from the Derby Homes car parking area to its junction with Yates Street.
- Yates Street on its northern side from the existing No Waiting (At Any Time) to its junction with Yates Drive on both sides and at its junction with the Derby Homes car parking area adjacent to 3 Yates Street on the southern side only.
One way for all vehicles, exemption 1:
- Yates Drive from its junction with Yates Street to its junction with Pear Tree Road adjacent to 85 Pear Tree Road.
Revocation of One way for all vehicles, exemption 1:
- Yates Street from its junction with Pear Tree Road adjacent to 1 Yates Street to its junction with Yates Drive.
There is a modification to the previously advertised proposal which brings into effect:
No Waiting (At Any Time)
- Yates Street at the junction outside number 3.
Revocation of No Waiting (At Any Time)
- Yates Drive on its eastern side from the rear of 85 Pear Tree Road for 38m.
Copies of the orders and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the orders, may be inspected on this page.
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the orders on the grounds that they are outside the powers of the acts or because they do not comply with any requirement or regulations made under them, may, within six weeks of the date of the orders apply to the High Court for this purpose.
