Communities and Place
The Communities and Place section is designed to fund interventions that will transform neighbourhoods into vibrant community hubs and where organisations will work together to improve health and wellbeing within the communities.
Indicative funding has been set to approximately £1.26 million for 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
- YMCA – Green Connector Project - this project will bring communities together through designing and developing community spaces which will provide nutritional awareness by growing their own produce. For more information contact enquiries@ymcaderbyshire.org.uk.
- Community Action Derby – Healthier and Wealthier Project – this project is a further iteration of a previous UKSPF project. It will provide advice and guidance that will stabilise and then move residents closer to good health, appropriate housing or into employment, reducing barriers to resilience, supporting healthy, safe and inclusive communities.
