Healthier Futures – Family Support Programme

Healthier Futures is a programme to help people feel more confident as parents, able to to give their child a healthy start in life. They provide support to get children eating more fruit and vegetables, reducing mealtime stress.

Take a look at the programme if you:

• are a parent or carer of a child aged 0 to 12 years
• have a Derbyshire postcode or are registered with a Derbyshire GP
• are a parent or carer of a child aged between 5 and 12 years who is over a healthy weight or at risk of reaching an unhealthy weight (on or above the 85th BMI centile).

Support is delivered online and face to face. Parents and carers can self-refer, or talk to a Health or Social Care professional for referral.
