Family support services
Many families will face difficulties at some time and some have multiple complex needs, family support is a way of working with families so they can better manage problems that they or others may be going through.
Family support offers a whole family approach working with families dealing with a range of issues including mental health problems, difficulties with parenting, domestic abuse, children with behavioural issues, problems engaging in education, emotional or physical health issues and financial issues.
Family support can help with:
- Bedtime routines
- Mealtime routines
- Advice on getting ready for school
- Understanding your child’s behaviour and how to respond
- Point you in the right direction for housing, benefit and debt advice
- Information about work or training
