Additional support for Supporting Families
If you are working with a family that meet the Supporting Families criteria, you can access additional support and resources to help your family achieve positive change.
This support provided by the Supporting Families team, through the Integrated Early Help Commissioning Framework and will help support:
- Problems with crime and anti-social behaviour
- Children who have not been attending school regularly
- Children who need help
- Adults out of work or at risk of financial exclusion or young people at risk of worklessness
- Families affected by domestic violence and abuse
- Parents and children with a range of health problems
External support that can be funded by Supporting Families:
- Catharsis (Therapeutic) - arts based therapies
- Inspirative Arts Theraputic - arts based therapies
- Change Grow Live (CGL) - Mentoring and Befriending
- Mustard Seed - Mediation and Family Support Services - Mediation or Family Therapy
- Relate - Counselling and Therapeutic relationship support
- Safe Families - Mentoring and Befriending support
- Derby and Derbyshire CARES (Catch 22) - this service supports children and young people at risk of Child Exploitation (CRE) in Derby and across Derbyshire. Provides bespoke support and interventions to children and young people to build resilience and aspiration, empowering them to take control of their lives and support them to stay safe. These can be requested through the referral process or by emailing supportingfamilies@derby.gov.uk.
