Joint Strategic Needs Assessment
About the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment collects information about the things that affect your health. Smoking, not exercising often enough, having access to safe and secure housing, and not having enough money to buy good quality food. These are some of the things that influence how well you are, and how long you live.
Bringing this data together helps the council, voluntary services, and the NHS to make decisions and plan services that aim to address any issues your community faces as well as improve your physical, and mental health.
We will update the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment on a regular basis so that it keeps up with the changing needs of the people of Derby.
