Sports and leisure

All information about sport and leisure services has been moved to the In Derby website - a separate website covering services managed by the Council's Leisure, Culture and Tourism department.

Derby Active

We have a range of facilities available for you to use, including:

• Derby Arena on Pride Park with a 250m indoor cycle track. It has a state-of-the-art 140 station gym, an Indoor Cycling studio, two exercise studios and a sports infield the size of 13 badminton courts. The Arena also has a café and bar, and offers a range of event and conferencing facilities.
• Springwood Leisure Centre in Oakwood with gym, classes, courts and pitches. There is also a variety of activities available for children including sports coaching courses such as gymnastics, trampolining and cheerleading to a fun packed school holiday programme.

Golf and swimming pools

Gayton Swimming Pool in Littleover, is managed on behalf of the Council by Lonsdale Swimming and Sports Trust, who also run Lonsdale Swimming Pool in Mickleover.

Moorways Sports Village including Moorways Stadium, is managed on behalf of the Council by Everyone Active.

Derby Golf Course (formally Sinfin Golf Course) is now run by Link Golf. Please visit their website for all information about Derby Golf Course.
