Derby City Council’s Healthy Housing Hub has been nominated in the ‘Home Improvement Agency of the Year’ category at the National Healthy Housing Awards.
This award recognises all-round excellence. The winner will be able to show that they understand their local commissioning environment, deliver a range of innovative services with consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and a dynamic approach to driving their business forward. Judges said “your entry stood out as demonstrating outstanding service in the sector.”
The award is run by ‘Foundations’, the MHCLG-appointed national umbrella body for home improvement agencies (HIAs) and handyperson providers, and the winners will be announced at an award ceremony on the 25th September.
The Healthy Housing Hub will be up against services from Leeds and Middlesbrough.
Cllr Roy Webb, Cabinet Member for Adults, Health and Housing said:
It’s fully deserved for the Hub staff to be recognised again nationally. This team is so much more than a traditional Home Improvement Agency and their innovation has been recognised with this nomination. Good luck to the team at the Awards Ceremony.
