Sometimes you get even more than you wished for...

Aladdin wishes the Princess would notice him, The Princess wishes she could lead a normal life, Aladdin's mother wishes she could remember what she came in here for...

And there’s something very peculiar about that ancient clapped-out rusty thing. (The lamp... not his mother.)

Let Derby LIVE and Little Wolf Entertainment whisk you away for Christmas to the town of Shangri-La where the sorcerers are sinister, the caves full of surprises and the genies have been bottling things up for a bit.

With spectacular sets, breath-taking special effects, gorgeous costumes and mountains of mayhem, the team behind last year’s smash-hit Sleeping Beauty return to grant all your festive wishes in this action-packed adventure for the whole family.

It doesn’t take a genie-us to know one of your three wishes should be to see Aladdin at Derby Arena.

The announcement comes as the finishing touches are being made to Sleeping Beauty, which opens at Derby Arena on Friday 10 December and runs until Saturday 8 January. Tickets are still available.

2019’s pantomime, Peter Pan, received stand-out reviews:

  • DerbyDaysOut - “made us chuckle all the way through!”
  • Whatsgoodtodo.com - “it was brilliant, the smiles on my children’s faces … made it worth every penny”
  • Boom magazine – “A really good amusing family show that got us feeling Christmassy”
  • Lots for Tots – “absolutely captivating for the little ones with glittering stage sets, special effects, fabulous costumes, marvellous singing and wonderful dancing! My children really enjoyed it and want to go AGAIN!”

Aladdin will be on stage at Derby Arena from Friday 9 December 2022 to Saturday 31 December 2022 with new, lower-priced tickets starting at £18 for adults, £16 for children and a new under 5s price of just £10 for any performance.

Concessions, group, school and family tickets are available. Discounted early-bird tickets are on sale now, offering a saving of £2 when you book by 31 May 2022, helping you plan next year’s festive treat.
