Following the passing of the Parliamentary Constituencies Act 2020 in December 2020, the BCE began a review of all Parliamentary constituencies in England.

The BCE is required to deliver a final report by 1 July 2023, recommending any changes that it believes are appropriate to the distribution, size, shape, name or designation of constituencies in England.

You can find further details in the BCE’s 2023 Review page and their Guide to the public hearings, which should also answer most other questions you may have. Detailed reports, data and mapping for the East Midlands region are also available on this page.
