Brought to you by the Council’s Derby LIVE team, a convoy of the best and most beautiful cars will gather at Markeaton Park as the Retro and Classic Car Show returns on Sun 3 Jul 2022. The best part is entry is FREE!

Cars, vans motorcycles, trikes, scooters, and bicycles will be on display in either modified or original mint condition in a spectacular event, not only for motoring enthusiasts but for the entire family.

The judging will take place throughout the day, with trophies being awarded in the afternoon. The judges will be looking for vehicles that stand out from the crowd, whether it's owing to modifications, creativity, or a passionate owner's background. Best in Show, Best pre-60s, Best 70s, Best 80s, Best 90s, Best interior, Best paintwork, Best Motorcycle, Best Trike, Best Scooter, and our Rust & Grime award for the tatty, rusty unloved classic are among the categories up for grabs.

Along with the wheels, there will be family-friendly entertainment that includes many children's activities including Zorbs, an inflatable maze, and face painting.

Live bands and DJs will spin modern and classic sounds from a variety of genres to accompany the display. The Indie Division, a four-piece band will be headlining and playing thumping classics from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, including iconic indie, Madchester, and punk songs.

Chris & Hannah Fay will be live-producing some colourful, feel-good music, giving the concert a sunny festival feel, The Derby West End Volunteer Choir will sing their own versions of popular pop songs and Lady Rose, the award-winning act from Nottingham are performing a huge variety of music spanning the decades and genres from Pop to Soul to Reggae and everything between. Not to be missed!

Our fully licensed bar offers ice-cold beers, wines, and spirits, so relax with a few cool drinks or refreshing ice cream. There are several food outlets to take advantage of, including our Toastie Van.

On-site parking is available, and an exhibitor fee of £5 is payable upon arrival.
