Connect Derby provides flexible accommodation, advice and guidance to small and medium enterprises across the city of Derby. The team works with key stakeholders and partners including D2N2 Growth Hub to help anyone in the city who wants to work for themselves, start their own business or expand an existing business.

Each year Connect Derby publishes their annual review which provides an insight into what the managed workspace provider has achieved over the past 12 months.

This year’s review focuses heavily on how Connect Derby is continuing to lead the way in the managed workspace sector and support SMEs across the city.

Over the past 12 months, Connect Derby has continued to innovate. Since April 2022, a diverse range of businesses have made a home for their business at one of the six managed workspaces across the city.

Paul Simpson, Chief Executive of Derby City Council explained:

I would like to congratulate Ann and her team, along with the wider internal Derby City Council colleagues from estates, property, legal, finance and other council departments who worked to assist the city’s business community.
