Dinosaur lovers are in for a treat as the amazing Jurassic Earth comes to Derby Arena for the first time. The UK’s original and best live dinosaur show give families the chance to come face-to-face with the world’s largest walking T-Rex, a brontosaurus, triceratops and many more.

The captivating family event heads up a fabulously varied selection of shows set to wow Arena audiences during Spring 2024. Circus of Horrors, That’ll Be The Day and the Illegal Eagles will all be back in town – and tickets for all shows are on sale now.

Jurassic Earth lands at Derby Arena on Sunday 28 April, with shows at 12.30pm and 4pm. As seen on TV, you can meet intrepid explorers and the bravest of rangers as they take you on a journey through Jurassic Earth, introducing their herd of the most incredible dinosaur species to have ever lived!

With audience participation and fun at the forefront of every performance, audiences will be captivated by astonishing walking dinosaurs, and their individual, jaw-dropping features. You can take Rangers Danger's masterclass to become an Official Dinosaur Ranger – gaining the skills you need to come face-to-face with the Jurassic giants – and feel the excitement of watching a dinosaur egg hatch in front of your eyes!

I can honestly say this is the best show we have ever taken any of our three children to. The interactive nature of it held our little boy’s attention for the whole duration of the show and he has been talking about it ever since!

Tickets are £21 for Band B tickets, while Band A tickets are £31. Band A tickets include a 30-minute meet and greet with some of show’s hatchlings, dinosaurs and rangers after the show, plus children will receive a free programme and activity book with crayons.

The amazing Circus of Horrors returns to the Arena with its brand new show, Dr Haze’s Cabinet of Curiosities, for one night only on Friday 1 March at 8pm. Hot on the heels of Phantasmagoria The Haunted Fairground, it’s set to blow minds with an amazing set, special effects and beautifully bizarre circus acts, performed to an original rock score.

Hop on board a rock ‘n’ roller coaster ride through a Cabaret of Curiosities featuring sword swallowers, Hairculean aerialists hanging from their hair while suspended above the auditorium, Whirlwind jugglers, twisted contortionists, Voodoo acrobats, pickled people, hula-hooping sideshow showgirls and lots more!

The astonishing cast has stormed into the finals of Britain's Got Talent and have become a West End and worldwide hit. The show is rated as age 16+ and tickets are priced between £27 and £30. You can get £5 off tickets booked before November with the code FEAR5.

Celebrating the music of the legendary US west coast country rock band, The Illegal Eagles will be at Derby Arena on Saturday 23 March at 8pm, bringing their trademark musical prowess and incredible showmanship to their performance.

Their amazing stage show features the very best from the legendary Eagles’ catalogue including Hotel California, Desperado, Take It Easy, New Kid In Town, Life In The Fast Lane and many more.

Extremely tight harmonies and an acute attention to detail are synonymous with The Illegal Eagles, now in their 24th year on the road. Following a number of critically-acclaimed UK abd European tours, The Illegal Eagles have established themselves not only as the ultimate celebration of The Eagles, but as one of the foremost authentic and talented shows in the world. Music lovers will be in for another treat when That’ll Be The Day returns to Derby Arena on Sunday 5 May at 7pm. Let the world’s leading rock ‘n’ roll show take you on a journey through the years celebrating the most iconic moments in comedy, music and pop culture from the 1950s right the way through to the 1980s.

Combining uproarious comedy sketches and impersonations with breath-taking vocals and dazzling musicianship, That’ll Be The Day truly is in a league of its own. It’s no wonder this show has been touring solidly forever 35 years and it just gets better and better! Tickets are £29.
