Derby LIVE and local independent music management company RatCat are proud to announce Derby Unplugged, a massive celebration of the region’s thriving music scene, is heading to Derby Arena.
The event on Sunday 3 May will pack in eight hours of live music from indie anthems to rock riffs, showcasing incredible artists from Derby and the surrounding areas, all in one unforgettable event. So come along and support homegrown greatness!
Running from 2pm to 10pm, Derby Unplugged will feature 10 bands hailing from Derby, Nottingham, and the surrounding areas. The lineup already boasts acclaimed acts including The Public Eye, Leah Wilcox, Daisy Peacock, Shadows of a Silhouette, and The Last Orders, with further artists to be announced soon.
The event welcomes anyone aged 14+, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets are £21.
Beyond Derby Unplugged, the Arena will host two major touring productions later in the year bringing audiences more amazing music.
Fans are invited to dust off their air guitars for an evening of legendary hits with the Ultimate Classic Rock Show. This show on Friday 30 October delivers over two hours of anthems from icons including Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Free, Eagles, and Jimi Hendrix.
Performed with stunning accuracy and high energy, the music is accompanied by an incredible light and projection show guaranteed to keep the audience on their feet. Tickets are £34.
Then on Saturday 7 November, grab your cowboy boots and celebrate some of the modern Country music giants with Nashville at Heart. As the country music craze sweeps the UK, this premier tribute celebrates modern icons like Luke Combs, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood and Chris Stapleton.
Featuring world-class session musicians and elite vocalists, the show promises to be a stunning live spectacle for all country fans. Tickets are £32.50.
