DERBY CITY COUNCIL made these Experimental Orders on the 14th day of March 2024, which will become effective from the 25th day of March 2024 for a period of 18 months, under Sections 1, 2, 4, and Part IV of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffic Act 1991 the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers in that behalf and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police.
Copy of the Experimental Order together with maps which show the definitive extents of the Experimental Order, and a copy of the Authority's Statement of Reasons: for making the Experimental Order:

Derby City Council will be considering, in due course, whether the provisions of these Experimental Orders should be continued in force indefinitely.
Anyone wishing to object to the Experimental Orders continuing in force indefinitely, should state their grounds of objection, sending it in writing to Derby City Council, Traffic and Transportation, Communities and Place, Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than the 24th of September 2024.
