Kingsway Boulevard

Derby City Council (Kingsway Boulevard Area Resident Permits) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.154) Order 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Derby City Council proposes to make the above order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.

The purpose of the order will be to introduce:

Permit Holders Only (8am to 6pm)

  • Kingsway Boulevard, in the 6 laybys between Caithness Crescent and Anmer Drive.
  • Somerset Close, for its entire length except for the existing double yellow lines
  • Dumfries Drive, for its entire length except for the existing double yellow lines.
  • Galloway Drive, from the existing double yellow lines to the extents of Newton House.
  • Anmer Drive, for its entire length except for the existing double yellow lines.
  • Spey Drive, for its entire length except for the existing double yellow lines.
  • Etteridge Drive, for its entire length except for the existing double yellow lines.
  • Doon Avenue, at its junction with Etteridge Drive.
  • Newtonmore Drive, for its entire length.
  • Prince William Drive, from the bollards located outside numbers 58 and 60 to its junction with Etteridge Drive.

  • Statement of Reasons - Kingsway Boulevard

Objections to the proposal stating your grounds of objection should be sent, in writing, to Traffic and Transportation, Communities and Place, Derby City Council, Council House, Corporation Street, Derby, DE1 2FS or by email to traffic.management@derby.gov.uk to be received no later than 6th March 2026.
