Climate change affects us all, but together, we can make a difference. Derby is full of passionate individuals and groups eager to drive positive change. Whether you're part of a community group, a local business, or just someone who cares, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Community Climate Forum

We've teamed up with the Derby Climate Change Coalition to create the Community Climate Forum—a space where local groups and individuals can connect, share ideas, and collaborate on climate initiatives.

When: Every two months

Who: Open to all—residents, community groups, and anyone passionate about making a difference

Why: To foster open dialogue, ask questions, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Looking to make your community more sustainable? The Midlands Net Zero Hub has compiled a list of funding opportunities to help groups like yours decarbonize, improve energy efficiency, and benefit both people and the planet.

Use Your Voice for Change

Conversations matter. Talk to your friends, family, and neighbours about climate change. Engage with your local councillorsOpens in new tab and MPs to express your concerns and ideas. 

You can also take part in our conversations on Let’s Talk ClimateOpens in new tab. We ask questions about a range of things including homes, transport and business. There are also opportunities to share what you’re doing in your area.
