Assisted bin collections
If you're disabled, recovering from an injury, pregnant, or temporarily unable to move your bin, you may be eligible for an assisted bin collection. This means our crew will collect your bin from an agreed spot, empty it, and return it - at no extra cost.

Once we receive your request, a member of our team may get in touch to confirm your eligibility and make sure the collection point is safe for our crews to access.
What we’ll need from you:
- Choose a collection point where all your bins can be kept together.
- Keep the route to and from this point clear and accessible.
- Use hard-standing surfaces where possible to avoid damage to grassed areas.
- Make sure pets (except assistance dogs) are secured on collection day.
- Keep the area free of animal fouling.
- Let us know straight away if your circumstances change or if you move.
- We’ll send you a reminder to renew the service every 24 months.
