Economic information and analysis
Since April 2010, local councils have had a legal duty to assess the economic conditions of their area.
To meet this duty, we have to analyse economic indicators to get an accurate, evidence-based picture of the opportunities and challenges facing the local economy.
Our 2010 Local Economic Assessment:
- provides an evaluation of Derby's economy
- includes the views of local businesses
- is used to inform priorities and actions to support local economic growth.
