What's happening at Darley and Nutwood Local Nature Reserve?
Woodland management in Nutwood Local Nature Reserve has been to coppice and remove selected trees around the margins of the swamp. This is part of a 10 year management and maintenance plan and has Tree Preservation Order approval.
In March 2019, the access track to Darley and Nutwood Local Nature Reserve was improved.
From South Avenue, the section of stone access track which serves the nature reserve and the Midland Canoe Club has been hard surfaced.
