Bin collections

Residents who are due to have brown bins emptied on Friday 22 November should leave these out for collection as normal. If we are unable to empty your brown bin, we will attempt to return next week. For more information, visit our Missed bins page.

What's happening at Sowter Road?

Following the refurbishment of the Silk Mill to enable the Museum of Making, the historic cobbles have been replaced and a planting scheme to echo the alignment of the historic leat; the open watercourse taking water from the Derwent to the Silk Mill, will be created.
