Council Tax, benefits and business rates

Due to essential annual year end processes, our Council Tax, benefits and business rates systems will be unavailable from 12pm on Monday 31 March to 9am on 2 April. During this time, customer service advisors will be unable to answer any enquires either over the phone, by email or in person. Our online forms will still be available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Gypsy and Travellers' sites

We are committed to assessing the accommodation needs of all people living in our area and this includes vulnerable groups such as Gypsies and Travellers.

There is currently a 17 pitch ‘permanent’ site for Gypsies and Travellers, called Imari Park, which is located on Russell Street. The site is managed by Derby Homes Ltd.

We continue to assess levels of unmet need through regular monitoring of unauthorised encampments and requests for licences which cannot be met by current provision.
