There are no weather warnings in place for Derby.
The Flood Warning for Darley Abbey, Folly Road has been removed.
Road closures
Haslam's Lane has re-opened and there are no other road closures due to flooding in Derby.
The A6 is closed for around a week to remove trees that pose a risk to motorists, pedestrians and cyclists on a piece of land at Cromford/Matlock Bath. If you're travelling from Matlock to Derby, consider using the train.
Flooding on roads is still possible in other parts of the county. Check route planners or online maps before driving and consider using alternative transport.
Flood gates
We are continuing to monitor the situation.
All public-access flood gates are currently open.
Our flood defences will provide protection to hundreds of properties along the Derwent. Some areas are waiting for defences to be constructed, and we will provide extra mitigations where we can.

Prepare
Preparedness remains one of our best forms of defence against flooding. If you live in a risk area, you should register for the Environment Agency's Flood Warnings Direct service.
This is a free service which sends you a direct message when flooding is expected which may affect your property. You can receive warnings by telephone, mobile, email, text message or fax.
