Kedleston Road Speed Limit
Derby City Council (Kedleston Road Area) (Speed) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No. 14) Order 2022
DERBY CITY COUNCIL made this Traffic Regulation Order on 29th February 2024, which comes into effect on 4th March 2024, under Sections 82 and 84 (1) (a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) the Traffic Management Act 2004 (“the 2004 Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act.
The order brings into effect:
- The proposed revocation of 40mph speed limit (existing street lighting automatically imposes 30mph speed limit on the road) along Kedleston Road between Menin Road and its junction with Church Road.
Copy of the order and a copy of the Authority’s Statement of Reason:
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
