Derby City Council (Morledge) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) (Amendment to Map Based Schedule) (No.136) Order 2023
Derby City Council has made this Traffic Regulation Order on 14th December 2023, which comes into effect on 18th December 2023 under Sections 1, 2, 4, 9, 32, 35, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers in that behalf.
The purpose of the order will be to introduce:
No Waiting (At Any Time) to replace Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour)
- The Morledge, below Riverside car park for approximately 3 metres on the North West side of the existing disabled bays
Disabled Badge Holders Only (3 Hours No Return 1 Hour) to remain, with extents to follow the new kerb line
- The Morledge, below Riverside car park
No Waiting (At Any Time)
- The Morledge, on the access road to the Eagle Market Loading Bay, from its junction with The Morledge to the back of the footway, a distance of approximately 16 metres on its northern side, and 7 metres on its southern side
- The Morledge, at the entrance to Shopmobility from its junction with the Morledge to the back of the footway, a distance of approximately 5 metres on its northern side and 6 metres on its southern side
Copies of the order and a copy of the authority’s Statement of Reasons for making the order:
Anyone wishing to question the validity of the order on the grounds that it is outside the powers of the acts or because it does not comply with any requirement or regulations made under it, may, within six weeks of the date of the order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
