Each electoral ward in Derby has two or three councillors (also called ‘electoral members’).

You can meet your councillors at Neighbourhood Forums. These are local meetings held every three months in your area where you can meet your councillors, as well as members of your Neighbourhood Board – the group that leads on behalf of the neighbourhood.

Councillors may take up residents’ issues with Council officers, the local Neighbourhood Board or with a specific committee.
