Council Tax, benefits and business rates

Due to essential annual year end processes, our Council Tax, benefits and business rates systems will be unavailable from 12pm on Monday 31 March to 9am on 2 April. During this time, customer service advisors will be unable to answer any enquires either over the phone, by email or in person. Our online forms will still be available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Retention schedule

It is a principle of the Data Protection Act 2018 that personal information is kept for "no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed". We ensure that once the information is no longer needed, it is securely disposed of in compliance with our Document Retention Schedule.

The Document Retention Schedule is currently a working document and is being reviewed.
