We’re looking for experienced adult social workers to join our friendly team to support our customers across Derby.
As a social worker in a regulated profession, you are uniquely educated and qualified to work with our diverse range of customers, to assess their needs using person-centred and strength-based approaches and recommending possible solutions.
If you’re a problem solver, working with multi-disciplinary teams to support customers with timely, proportionate and effective care, alongside developing inter-professional and networking skills then we want to hear from you.
Using your knowledge, emotional intelligence, analytical skills and leadership, your strength is building relationships with individuals and their families in order to support them in meeting their needs.
This can include supporting individuals to:
- achieve their potential through identifying and working with their strengths and resources
- cope in difficult times and safeguarding from harm
- promote their human rights and cultivate wellbeing
- make referrals to specialist services.
The team are looking for solution-focused people with creative approaches to achieving positive changes to join them when rising to the challenges of social care. In adult social care you endorse and act in accordance with the principles of personalisation, ensuring that care and support are person-centred and, as far as possible, put the people with whom you work in control of their lives.
