Bail information and advice
Bail Support Service
Derby Youth Justice Service (YJS) provides a Bail Support Service at the youth court. If the magistrates at court are not able to deal with a case, for whatever reason, they have the option of putting the young person on bail (with or without conditions) whilst they wait for the next court date.
The YJS is responsible for supervising the young person whilst on the Bail Support programme in order to help the young person stay out of trouble and attend court on their due date.
