Call for sites
Derby City Council has begun preparing a new local plan which will look forward over the next 15 to 20 years.
We are collecting information on opportunities for future development on sites and in broad locations within the city. This includes opportunities for housing, employment uses, retail or leisure uses and any sites which could provide a mix of these.
If you wish to put forward a potential site for development, complete a call for sites response form.
Please note, identifying a site does not guarantee it will be included in future development plans or given planning permission. If you submit a site, please read the information on the form carefully and provide as much information as you can. You will need to provide an Ordnance Survey based plan which clearly shows the site or land that you are promoting. If you submit a site, we will add your details to a database and keep you informed of progress on the preparation of the local plan.
We can only consider sites or land which is within the administrative area of Derby City.
We will consider the suitability of suggested sites, taking into account any constraints including the likely impact of any development on the environment.
