Enterprise Growth Strategy

To react to the changes made to business support, together with our partners we have consulted with over 570 Derby businesses to define our joint strategic objectives for delivering support.

The Enterprise Growth Strategy gives both us and our partners the basis in how we support enterprise and a new economic vision for Derby, as part of the wider Economic Regeneration Strategy.

Enterprise Growth Board

The Enterprise Growth Board is one of three boards that report to the Derby Renaissance Board. It contributes to Derby's Economic Strategy by:

stimulating an enterprise culture with innovation and creativity
supporting the growth of companies and relocation opportunities
improving Derby as an investment proposition.

The Enterprise Growth Board engages the private sector, networks, support providers and intermediaries to have a full and ongoing understanding of the threats and opportunities that impact upon enterprise in Derby. The Board uses its experience to monitor, raise awareness and influence national and locally funded projects.

The Board is also responsible for ensuring the delivery of the actions outlined in the Enterprise Growth Strategy.
