Residents who are due to have brown bins emptied on Friday 22 November should leave these out for collection as normal. If we are unable to empty your brown bin, we will attempt to return next week. For more information, visit our Missed bins page.

We sometimes have land and property for sale which we post information about on this page.

Current properties for sale

We do not currently have any property for sale.

Minor land disposals

We can sell, upon request, small plots of land, usually to the owner of adjoining land, to make a larger garden or to provide land for a minor extension. Please note, this application is not for larger plots of land.

On rare occasions, it may be possible to grant a right of access to a property over Council-owned land.

How to apply to buy a piece of land or enquire about access to your property

Should you wish to make an application, please download and complete the Land purchase application form.

You will be required to submit a cheque of £500 as a non-refundable administration fee.

Should your application be successful, there will be additional fees payable which will vary depending upon the nature of the request. These will be outlined to you during the application process.
