62 - Parked with one or more wheels on a footpath
If you park where there is a footway parking ban in force, a Blue Badge does not provide any exemption.
You are liable for the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
If you pay your PCN within 14 days of the date of your ticket, you pay the lower amount shown on your ticket or letter. If you pay after 14 days, you pay the original penalty charge on the notice.
There are metal stud markings where the border of the cathedral land and the highway meet, if you were parked to the right of these markings, looking at the cathedral, you will have been parked on the highway and within the payment ban. You are therefore liable for the Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
If you pay your PCN within 14 days of the date of your ticket, you pay the lower amount shown on your ticket or letter. If you pay after 14 days, you pay the original penalty charge on the notice.
If you believe that you were parked to the left of these markings, we may consider your challenge.
You will need to tell us that you were not parked on the cathedral land and we will look at the evidence gathered from our officers.

The bike posts located on the footpath are for push bikes only and not for motorcycles.

- a colour photo showing the make and model of the vehicle
- a colour photo showing the vehicle registration number of the vehicle
- a police crime reference number related to the cloning of your vehicle.
