In a situation where a child reaches the maximum weight capacity for the seat, 36kg, if the child isn’t tall enough that the belt sits naturally at the edge to the shoulder and the middle of the chest, it is still safe to use the seat beyond the maximum weight limit to ensure the belt is positioned correctly over the child.
